HERMÉS BOX LID ARTWORKS...The inimitable style of these ‘Scarf Icons’ are painted on genuine Hermés box lids, with each icon wearing a Hermés scarf design – art doesn’t get richer than this!  The challenge of painting on the box lids was to work the layout of each painting around the existing Hermés logo printed in the centre of each lid.  A lot of thought went into each person, the heritage of each scarf design, and the reasons for using those chosen.  Fortunately, the rich orange colour and texture of the lids make them the most stylish canvas. They have then been professionally framed to enhance their uniqueness and display the box sides on an ivory background within deep sided black wood frames.  

Please note: acrylic paint is permanent and durable but I cannot vouch for the lightfastness of Hermés packaging so you are advised to hang out of direct sunlight in case of shading on box.
