Supersize version of Frida Kahlo - the original series started with me painting ‘scarf icons’ directly onto Hermès boxes. This is a scaled up version on deep box canvas - so again painted to look like a giant Hermès box with the glossy chocolate edge sides and a meticulous hand painted logo in the centre that the design is arranged around. Super colourful and expressive in its brushwork , Frida is wearing an interpretation of the Hermès ‘Chain d’Ancre’ scarf. Signed, acrylic on deep canvas ready to hang.
