Queen Elizabeth is well known for her love of Hermés scarves and often photographed wearing them. Her love of dogs is also well documented so I chose to paint her in the aptly named Hermés 'Monarch' scarf. The Hermés logo on the centre of the boxlid has been cleverly incorporated in my design. The artwork is a colourful and lively tribute to Her Majesty in this her Platinum Jubilee year, a true scarf icon!
The genuine Hermés box lid is framed to show the 3D sides, and I have signed and titled the box sides. Frame is 4cm deep x2cm, black wood, glazed and stamped on back.
