New large scale 'Terre d'Hermés' ...I wanted to capture that amazing bottle design - the glass base of the flacon is a H shape and the orange glass seems to light the whole bottle up. I have used thin layers of orange glaze to capture that effect, and the contrast to the black background really makes the colours pop. There is a lovely spectrum of colours in the bottle reflections. The artwork really works as I have painted it on its side - giving it a slight abstract appearance, but can also be hung vertically (as shown in last photo) so to maintain flexibility I have signed discreetly in bottle edge.
