This genuine Saint Laurent bag illustration is reminiscent of Bianca Jagger's white YSL Tuxedo, worn to Studio 54 where she was famously photographed entering the notorious New York club on a white horse...and the title is also apt as the interior backdrop of this artwork depicts the new Saint Laurent studios in Paris with its very French salon style: high ceilings, grand chandeliers and shiny parquet floor. Saint Laurent as a brand is heavily associated with this insouciant, French style and so the illustrated combination on a carrier bag really works.
The bag is 53x32cm, and is mounted on white card sized 85 x 45cm, complete with handles.
