I have painted the woven ‘heart' motif mesh in this lingerie and the layers of the net with painstaking skill. The light and shade to the mesh layers gives an almost 3D appearance to the pieces. The turquoise lace edging and bow is a striking contrast to the black mesh and the canvas circumference is also painted in the contrasting neon blue.
