Large scale canvas with super detailed ‘Trompe L’oeil’ painted Hermes ribbon tied to produce the illusion of a giant Hermès box. The deep box canvas is a painterly, lightly textured vibrant orange with the ‘ribbon’ continuing around all four sides so that it’s very realistic when hung, complete with the gloss brown edge of the hermès box. The logo itself is beautifully hand painted in acrylic - no digital art for me!! It took weeks and hours but it’s been worth it. I’ve ‘signed’ ellis in the Hermes font on the side of the ribbon that curves around the right hand side as photo.
